Discover The Best Children’s Books on Adoption
Children’s Literature on Adoption
Today we will be going over the best children’s books on adoption.
Having adoption shown in our books, shows, and media is I believe very important for our children. Your child needs to see that they are not alone and their feelings are shared.
Plus having literature and media for your friends and family to share as a family for their little ones to have a chance to ask their questions is important as well.
This is not just a list of children’s books on adoption for adoptive families but for all families in general.
One of our goals as adoptive parents is to have our child always know that he is adopted. There will never be a moment that we sit him down and have to tell him his adoption story; he will always just know it.
Reading these children’s books on adoption gives us another easy opportunity to share his own story with him.

Children’s Books on Adoption
Reading to your child is so important cognitively and also emotionally.
Having books in your reading routine on adoption can be so important for your adoptive child and can help your child emotionally express themselves.
I can be pretty picky when it comes to what books I buy, but these books I am even more picky about. I want to make sure I choose books that will be most helpful for my child and hopefully in turn help you have the best books for your child.
